I haven't a hail pad in place. We so seldom get hail here, that I didn't figure one was necessary. General rule is that the hail observed is pretty tipical of this area. It didn't come straight down, there was some wind, but did no visable damage. Not that I could see. I would call the accumulation on the ground a trace. It was melting fairly fast after falling. It was hard enough to make considerable noise as it hit things though. It was already raining at the time this fell, and continued to do so. |
