Observation occured at Bear Creek Park East (21st St and Rio Grande) in Colorado Springs. Storm was preceded by a dry microburst @ 1:29 PM which sent dust and debris upward to an estimated height of 75-80 ft. with estimated wind in excess of 50 mph. Heavy rain followed shortly thereafter followed by hail. Hail did not cover ground and large hail stones were isolated. |
