Notes: |
Small, large, then small again. Rain barely started before hail, then seemed to stop while it hailed (couldn't completely tell, it was hailing steadily and hard!). Hail covered ground (and filled my gutters which overflowed). Ground was white! Little drifts of hail on my deck chairs. There are still random hail stones falling in with the (now) heavy rain. One final burst of 1/4" hail at 11:28 pm. Rain and hail abating (11:30 pm), now have lightning and thunder.
Hosta leaves shredded, new growth (tips) of blue spruce on ground. |
