Largest measured hailstone was 1.625, approximately 20 after the hail stopped, so there was a fair bit of melting. I didn't see any dents in the car yet... Hard to tell with a flashlight. Next day, 14-hrs later. Cars are dents, shingle damage on roof. Found a 1.5" hail stone after 14hrs of melting, so the largest stones were probably 2-inch. Never seen this kind of storm in October! Plastic flower pots and a plastic pail were destroyed. |
