Notes: |
Day was very conducive for hail formation, with very low freezing levels (around 7000 feet) under deep cold pool aloft. Hail was also accompanied by strong winds and occasional cloud to ground lightning. Hail accumulated to a depth of around a half inch, with plenty more around drains/roof lines, etc. Hail seemd to last for an unusually long period of time (at least for this part of the country) as storms were fairly slow moving. |
