Notes: |
Hail started with the start of the heaviest rainfall, 6 to 7 minutes after the first light rain fall started. Hail stopped just a minute or two before the heavy rain stopped. No accummilation of hail, though more then 0.40 inches of rain received in the time frame of hail fall. Leaf damage to some plants was minor while other plants had shredded leaves. Most plants had minor damage with a few shreds scattered amoung the leaves. The young rose buds just starting to open (perfect for bud-vases) were nothing but petals scattered on the ground after the storm. |
