Notes: |
The hailpad doesn't seem to support what I witnessed. The hail that fell on my porch began as small (1/8" - 1/4"), grey, hard stones that bounced when they hit the porch floor. Yet the hail pad doesn't have any of those smaller pock marks. Later, the hail changed to larger, soft stones that splattered when they hit my porch. The hail pad seems to support THAT hail, although, if I hadn't seen the larger, soft hail on my porch, I would have interpreted the hail pad as merely having been hit by large rain drops. Confusing!! |
