No hail pad this location. A strong squall moved in just after 12:30 PM with very strong southeasterly winds gusting over 50 mph with rain, heavy at times and small hail. The temperature dropped from 67 to 56 degrees in less than 10 minutes. Temperature at time of report: 57.1°F; High wind gust: 53 mph/SSE @ 12:48 PM. About 0.10 inch of rain has fallen, but I'm guessing much more than that has fallen but with 30 to 50 mph winds, most came down sideways so gauge catch was reduced. |
