Both heavy rain and hail was falling at the same time. Hail was measured after it stopped and much of it had already melted. It appeared that some was larger than 2" as it was falling, but unable to confirm as I was not able to measure it. The hail broke our porch light. many leaves littered the area. Reported 1.5" hail to NWS as that was the avergae size. Numerous minor dents on roof of my vehicle discovered this morning after sun came up. |
