HAIL and 0.95 inch of SWE & rain in a Backdoor Cold Front. T-storm direct hit from 1448 to 1518 EDT which included ten minutes of lightning overhead with heavy pea-sized leaf-shredding hail with .57 liquid in gauge. Much of the hail bounced out of the funnel. Second T-storm direct hit from 1655 to 1720 EDT with lightning overhead and .38 in the gauge with no hail. 30° temperature drop after cold front passage. |
