It had been sunny for an hour or so before the hail started. First wave of hail came with no rain. Hail was small (rice sized) white and hard. Hailed for about 5 mins straight then stopped. Rain started about 3 mins after the first wave of hail ended. Temps quickly dropped ~5-7 deg when the rain came and a stiff breeze picked up. Rained for about 5 mins heavily then the next wave of hail started. Hail was mixed with rain, was larger and was a mix of hard and soft. A varied mix of rain and/or hail continued to come in waves for the next 40 mins.. |
