Notes: |
The 7/8 in. measurement was made as soon as it was safe to do so after the storm. Largest stones were very infrequent. At the time of hailfall, largest stones appeared to be about the size of quarters, maybe a bit larger. Largest stones fell amidst relatively light rain and a few smaller stones. Then a torrent of rain fell, and that's when most of the pea-grape-small marble hail fell. Coverage of the stones on the ground was not enough to blanket the ground, even immediately after the hail ended. |
