Notes: |
Had no pad to measure indentations. Looked like popcorn bouncing off the ground. Completely cover the ground in a solid carpet of ice away from structures and trees and such. Destroyed our squash and cucumbers. Shredded leaves. fifteen miles east from my location as the crow flies in the Damascus community they had huge very damaging hail bigger than a man’s hand and oblong, not rounded and thick looking. After the storm the ice in places lasted for 30 minutes before melting. While melting it created a fog/steam like look. I have never witness a hail storm like this in my life. Have pictures on my FB page. |
