Notes: |
Had torrential rain then hail mixed with it - it slacked off for about ten minutes then started up again with a vengence and that is when the large hailstones started falling. The wind was strong enough that we thought our sycamore trees were going over, but they didn't. However, we did have tops blown out of sweet gum trees and limbs broken off numerous trees. I could not report the hail immediately because our power was off. I do not have a hail pad because we never had that much hail around here. |
