This hail was observed while I was driving. The hail was first observed at the intersection of Mt. Royal Blvd. and Ferguson Road in Hampton Township, which is roughly 0.2 mile straight line distance from my CoCoRaHS location, 0.7 miles W of Allison Park. The hail lasted for an estimated 2 minutes and hailstone sizes were estimated to be no larger than pea size. |
