A small amount of hail, mixed with brief but heavy rain. Hail fell for 2 minutes of a 10-minute thunderstorm. It was hard to determine the size of the hailstones accurately, because the ground was quite warm and the stones melted quickly. The largest were probably bigger than rice grains but smaller than peas. |
