Notes: |
Not much warning with this storm, clouds rolled in and some lighting and the big stones started falling. Some of these were big enough to do glass damage but most of the larger stones were on the softer side and were white and lumpy in appearance. Some of the other stones were almost totally clear and some were pointed at one end almost shaped like an acorn and some of those were almost 2 inches long but tapered in width. Others were shaped like flower buds and some were clear like marbles. Quite an assortment and have photos of most of these. Luckily the hail wasn't really heavy and the big stone were spread out otherwise these could have done some real damage. |
