Notes: |
Chased this storm last night over near Shelburne. I intercepted it at the corner of Hurontario St and the 30th side Rd. Rain began first and it was not until the rain became very heavy did hail begin to fall. The hail did not fall densely but fell lightly within the rain. Hail was mainly pea size (1/4 inch), largest was also 1/4 inch. Wind accompanied this storm and I recorded a 41.1 mph wind gust inside the main storm core. Wind lasted for only a few minutes and had two powerful gusts in which reached 41.1 mph. |
