Notes: |
We watched five separate hail showers yesterday. These were throughout the day. Three were rather significant. One in the afternoon especially so as it had a few stones that were garbanzo-bean sized, but most were pea-sized. Rain showers were lesser than hail showers, but did occur at times after. I went out to check if it was graupel or hail. It was solid ice. I could not crush it with my fingers.
We had short-lived blanket of near solid white twice yesterday. It was only the height of the single stones except where accrued against objects, then it piled up to 1.5" against the house and on my car windshield.
A lot of our flowers were knocked off the fruit trees. A few radish seedlings got snapped off. |
