Notes: |
I was driving west on US 285 and drove thru the event. Encountered approx 3 miles east of Pine Junction intersection of US 285 and Co 126 to .8 mile west of that intersection. Hard cloudburst of rain with slush balls and massive thunder cracks. Lone Rock Vet Hosp that is on US 285 1.1 miles west of the Pine Junction intersection said they had shortly before "had a lot of hail and heavy rain with lots of thunder." Ground was almost covered with rice-size hail when I got there at 5:26pm. |
