Notes: |
Ground is covered with hail an inch deep. Rain gauge was collected .6 inches of rain between 7:30 and 9:30 this morning. Our 20 foot flag pole was bent at ground level and is totally on the ground. Tree branches are also down, but no other damage seen at this hour. If there had been leaves on the trees, they would have been shredded. I've never seen hail cover the ground, nor heard the sound that much hail makes in just a few minutes. The elapsed time could not have been 5 minutes start to finish! |
