COCORAHS RAIN GAUGE RALLY 2025 FINAL RESULTS  -  MINNESOTA (378) WINS THE TRADITIONAL CATEGORY FOR THE SIXTH YEAR IN A ROW . . . WYOMING THE PER CAPITA !   1196 NEW VOLUNTEER OBSERVERS HAVE JOINED THE NETWORK DURING MARCH!

CoCoRaHS Rain Gauge Rally 2025 has come to a close. Thanks to all of you, the network has recruited 1196 new volunteer observers during March 2025! 

In the "traditional count" category (total number of new observers), Minnesota (378) took the lead on day one and never took their foot off the gas, winning the category six years straight. Wisconsin (95), Texas (66), Michigan (63) and Tennessee (53) all did an amazing job and rounded out the top five. Well done once again!

In the "population weighted-per capita" category, Wyoming (89.44) won the Per Capita CoCoRaHS Cup with a surge on the final day. Minnesota (66.12), South Dakota (18.68), Wisconsin (16.12) and the U.S. Virgin Islands (9.61) gave strong performances finishing two thru five. Great work everyone!
